Alison Hill, owner/operator of Seren Media, is an Emmy nominated television Producer and seasoned journalist, interviewer and host, with fifteen years broadcasting and media experience. Alison, a native of Wales, Great Britain (fluent in the Welsh language) began her journalism career as a newspaper reporter running a regional office for a Welsh weekly. She quickly moved into television becoming an investigative journalist with the ITV 1 long-running, current affairs series Y Byd ar Bedwar (The World on Four). Here she undertook many risky ventures, including an undercover assignment with an 'alleged' religious cult, where she spent five weeks as a member and secretly filmed meetings and conversations (click here for more details) Alison also produced news reviews and 10-minute segments for a HTV weekly news magazine and performed voice-overs and stand-ups for weekly items.
She has also worked for PBS as a public affairs Producer, and for the past decade has been a regular guest commentator on BBC Radio Wales news programs. Her on-screen credits include hosting the Emmy-nominated series Dropframe, and the PBS show Quantum Factor. In addition Alison is an aspiring horror novelist, and is working on her second book.

BBC Wales
Alison is currently an analyst providing commentary and insight on U.S. governmental, political and public affairs for a BBC Radio Wales morning news show. She has offered observations on such issues as gun rights in the U.S, the war on terrorism, 9/11, national and mid-term elections, presidential speeches, the Middle East peace process, Iran, breaking news stories and other important current events.
PBS PRODUCER
Global Agenda - as an independent producer Alison took charge of a brand new weekly PBS show Global Agenda - which she developed and produced from its inception. Live shows - Alison spent over three years as staff producer of public affairs programs at a PBS affiliate station in Denver, Colorado, producing three weekly shows - two of them live call-in discussion programs. When Alison joined the station she took the exisitng primetime weekly discussion show, Colorado Inside Out Live! to new heights, by introducing topical national and international issues and including interesting and relevant visuals. Colorado viewers were offered a unique opportunity to partake in live debates and express their opinion on such issues as immigration, gay marriage, abortion, the War in Iraq, the Middle East peace process, Homeland Security, academic freedom and more. Alison also produced another weekly live show Drawing the Line with Reggie Rivers, which focused on constitutional isssues, and Colorado Inside Out a pre-taped discussion show focusing mostly on Colorado issues.

Alison's on-camera experience includes hosting several PBS shows, in-studio 30-minute interviews, on-location interviews and stand-ups for HTV Wales.
Colorado Inside Out Live - special taped edition
A special half-hour studio interview with Siham Hattab Hamdan, who at the time of broadcast was one of only six female members of the Baghdad City Council. Thirty-three year old Siham joins guest host Alison Hill (who also produced the show) and shares her views on the past, present and future of Iraq. A fascinating interview with a remarkable young woman who suffered greatly under the former regime and who faces daily challenges and struggles in the new Iraq. Siham is involved with the Baghdad-Denver Region Partnership for Peace.
Dropframe
Alison is the Host and co-producer of the Emmy nominated series, Dropframe, which showcases the work of independent filmmakers, broadcast on PBS in Denver, Colorado. This is an eclectic mix of indie shorts, documentaries, electronic newsgathering, music videos and always a moment of clarity courtesy of Adbusters!
Quantum Factor
Alison HIll is the Co-creator, Executive Producer, Producer, Host and Writer of Quantum Factor, a discussion show that explores the nature of reality and the mysteries of the mind. Haunted World
Alison Hill hosts Haunted World which explores a real ghost story: the haunting of Denver's Croke-Patterson-Campbell mansion - one of the most haunted buildings in America! Alison spent the night at the haunted house with a film crew, the house's owner and a team of paranormal experts!
